Allison Crowe amazes once
again

The Salt Spring Island branch was once again honoured to have Allison Crowe perform a benefit concert on August 6.
In what has become an annual tradition, Allison wowed an enthusiastic audience. They marvelled at her incredible music, and rolled in the aisles thanks to her hilarious showmanship.
Soon to begin touring for Spiral, the most recent of seven albums, Allison performed several new pieces such as Double Edged Swords.
Crowe also pleased the crowd with well-loved pieces from her earlier work such as Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, her own Skeletons and Spirits, and Aretha Franklin's I Never Loved a Man. As always, her performance was brilliant, passionate, and over too quickly.
We are so thankful for Allison's generosity in giving her talent to benefit the animals at our shelter.
