Kidney Foundation original paintings auction full of art and heart~ November 12
“A Brush of Hope”, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Atlantic Branch’s artful campaign to help raise funds for people living with kidney disease has concluded with colourful flourish. Thousands of dollars have been raised for research and more – the final tally from paintings auctioned off on eBay is still a few strokes from completion.
Allison Crowe’s painting – a scene of Newfoundland, which she loves – will soon be hanging in the home of successful bidder “o***o” who won the auction and this unique work of Canadiana folk art, nosing ahead of some fierce competition, with a closing price of US $102.50 = CDN $136.08 to go to the Kidney Foundation.
Congratulations and hearty thanks to “o***o” for your generosity! May Allison’s painting brighten your home and long bring you joy. Thanks, as well, merci beaucoup to bidders “3***I” and “j***a” who clearly wanted this painting, and came oh-so-close in the end. Cheers to all who’ve participated – for your support of this worthy cause and sharing in this fun way to fundraise.
