One of the most beautiful, and popular, covers of Joni Mitchell’s “River”, is by Allison Crowe - first heard on “Tidings”, her classic album recorded live-off-the-floor in 2003/4.

The year after recording the audio album, Crowe returned to Turtle Studios in White Rock, BC, Canada – again with Engineer/Producer Larry Anschell, and, this time, also with film-maker Alex Postowoi and crew.

On this afternoon, in real-time, these same “Tidings” tunes were captured by camera as well as microphone – as the musician again performed the music in single, first, takes.
