Shine on Grose Morne ~ July 15

Allison Crowe credits life by the sea – in her two homes – Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, British Columbia and, Corner Brook, Newfoundland - as a key inspiration.

Musicians, thespians, technicians, Newfoundlers and Labradorians+, taking a break from productions at the Gros Morne Theatre Festival, gather at the beach in Cow Head, 'round a communal fire.

Cast, crew, friends and
all gather at the beach in Cow Head, on the Great
Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, in Gros Morne
National Park - for a mussel boil organized by
Denise Dolliver (Theatre Newfoundland and
Labrador's Production/Company Manager).
In the image above, Adrian Payne scoops up a
heaping serving of the succulent sea harvest.
Adrian, a local, and member of an historic family
on the peninsula, has seen much of the good life in
the region. Earlier in the day he posted to
facebook: "Went and saw the opening of Newfoundland
Vinyl last night. In my opinion it was maybe the
best production ever shown on stage in Cow Head.
Congratulations Allison and all the cast on a GREAT
show!!!!!!!!!!!"

l-r: GMTF team-members - Jessy Matthews, Allison Crowe, Sandy Gow (in back a bit), Miranda Power, and Courtney Harris enjoy this night and each other's company - away from stage productions.

The Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis - shining over Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland, Canada - where Allison Crowe, cast, crew and friends of the GMTF celebrate on the beach.
Allison thanks Johnny Cann, (Lighting designer/engineer), for showing her the way to capture images of the Northern Lights this Summer's night - and you'll find plenty more pics and stories to be found on Allison's facebook pages
